Every effort has been made to make your gite comfortable for your stay.  We have created several areas within the grounds for your use & enjoyment. Rain or shine there are things for all the family to use. By the pool you will find sun loungers & parasols for your relaxation & for the shade lovers we have various seating areas for you to enjoy with a book & perhaps a glass of something.  For the young & the young at heart there is a trampoline which is sunken in the ground for safety & a tree house for the young adventurer all shaded by the trees in our wooded area. Should rain stop play you are welcome to use the indoor games room which has a full size ping pong table, a pool table, darts, cards & board games.

Gigny is a small working village surrounded by acres of open farmland growing a variety of crops from corn to sunflowers. Set in the heart of  Burgundy,  you will find walking and cycling trails that will take you as far as your legs will allow, the favourite being the three village walk which takes in Gigny and her two neighbours.  For the more laid back a relaxing stroll around Gigny before dinner is more than enough to earn you a glass of  local wine.  A delivery of fresh bread and pastries arrives in the mornings at the gate for those lazy breakfasts and fresh eggs from our own chickens are yours for the taking

Why not visit Chantelle at Gigny's fromagerie, she sells delicious cheeses which make great gifts for family & friends back home, or a scrummy lunch.  Here in Gigny we have a lovely church with a twisted spire which you can take a tour of with Monsieur Pion who is very enthusiastic about the church. Gigny is well placed for visiting places such as Chablis, Champagne, Dijon, Auxerre & many other historic villages & towns in the region, there is a comprehensive information pack at the gite for your use.
